Therefore any electrical devices/equipment situated in the direct vicinity should be splash-water proof, re-
spectively comply with the statutory requirements for wet areas.
Caution when the cover is removed! During operation, electronic components can
become hot.

INSTALLATION

5.1

GENERAL

Installation must only be performed by suitably qualified technical personnel.
chapter 4.1 "INTENDED USE" must be observed without fail!
The pipe must be able to safely support the dosing pump.
Otherwise mechanical damage to the pipe up to and including breaks can result. This can result in severe
water damage. Should such an event occur, persons in the vicinity of the dosing pump are exposed to a risk
of injury of harm because of the large water volumes that could escape. For this reason pipes must, where
necessary, be provided with additional fastenings or support.
To ensure convenient operation and maintenance always adhere to the specified dimensions (see
chapter 10.3 "INSTALLATION DIMENSIONS").
At least 300 mm clearance is required above the dosing pump, so that all maintenance work can be prop-
erly performed.
Below the dosing pump there must be sufficient clearance to changeover the mineral solution container
(see chapter 10.3 "INSTALLATION DIMENSIONS").
5.2

REQUIREMENTS FOR THE PLACE OF INSTALLATION

To ensure fault-free operation, observe the following requirements:
/ The ambient temperature must not exceed 30 °C. In higher temperatures or direct sunlight, material
damage may occur.
/ The installation room must be dry and free from frost. It must not be possible for unauthorised persons
to access the room.
