OPERATION

The chapter 4.1 "INTENDED USE" must be observed without fail!
The power supply unit may only be plugged in once the dosing pump is fully in-
stalled and bled.
6.1

BLEEDING

The dosing pump must be filled with water and bled before commissioning (first use or
commissioning after maintenance).
/ Fill the water meter with water after installation of the dosing pump by opening the upstream isolation
valve.
/ The water meter is now under mains pressure.
/ Opening a tap now causes the trapped air to be immediately removed from the water meter. This pre-
vents damage to the installation by water hammer pressure surges.
/ After bleeding, the dosing pump is ready for use.
6.2

COMMISSIONING

Connect the dosing pump to the power supply.
Plug the power supply unit into the power outlet.
After the power supply unit is plugged in, the software of the electronic control unit starts up.
Then the operating indication is output to the display:
The first dosing takes place as soon as the water flow is above the start-up limit and there is sufficient solu-
tion in the mineral solution container.
