HINWEIS: Nach Drücken der START/
STOP-Taste Insuf ation wechseln die
Digitalanzeigen und von Anzeige des
Sollwerts auf Istwert-Anzeige. Der blinkende
Dezimalpunkt erlischt.

HINWEIS: Die für Druck und Flow eingestell-
ten Sollwerte bleiben gespeichert, wenn das
Gerät ausgeschaltet wird.
Nach Wiedereinschalten des Gerätes werden die
gespeicherten Werte blinkend angezeigt und müs-
sen durch Betätigung einer beliebigen der ± Tasten
oder der START/STOP-Taste bestätigt werden
(siehe auch Abschnitt „Sollwertbestätigung", S. 19).
Anderenfalls Neu eingabe wie oben beschrieben.
Funktionsprüfung
Mit den ± Tasten den Flow-Sollwert auf
1 l/min einstellen.
VERESS-Nadel öffnen und START/STOP-Taste
Insuf ation drücken (Schalter leuchtet).
Der an der Istwert-Anzeige und der Digitalan-
zeige angezeigte Druck muss unter 4 mmHg
liegen. Ist der Druck deutlich höher, so ist die
VERESS-Nadel entweder defekt oder verstopft.
Der an der Istwert-Anzeige und der Digital-
anzeige abzulesende Flow-Wert muss mit dem
Wert der Sollwert-Anzeige übereinstimmen.

NOTE: Digital displays and will shift
from indication of the set value to indication of
the actual value when the insuf ation START/
STOP button is pressed. The decimal
points of the displays will then cease blinking.

remain stored if the unit is switched off.
On switching the unit back on again, the values
stored ash and must be accepted by pressing one
of the ± buttons or the START/STOP button

Test for proper operation

Set the ow rate set value to 1 l/min using the
± buttons .
Open the VERESS needle and press the insuf a-
tion START/STOP button . The lamp in the but-
ton should light.
The pressure value indicated on the actual-value
display and on the digital display must be
lower than 4 mmHg. A pressure value signi cantly
above this level indicates that the VERESS needle is
either obstructed or defec tive.
The ow value indicated on the actual-value display
and on the digital display must agree with the
value indicated on the set-value display

Comprobación del funcionamiento
Ajuste el valor nominal de ujo a 1 l/min con las
teclas ± .
Abra la aguja VERESS y apriete la tecla de
CONEXION/DESCONEXION de insu ación
(se enciende el interruptor).
La presión que aparece en el indicador del valor real
y en el indicador digital tiene que estar situada
por debajo de 4 mmHg. Si la presión es notable-
mente más alta, la aguja VERESS está obturada o
defectuosa.
