VERESS-Nadel bzw. Trokar einführen und Ver-
schlusshebel öffnen. Insuf ationsvorgang durch
Drücken der START/STOP-Taste einleiten.

HINWEIS: Der kleine Durchmesser der
VERESS- Nadel begrenzt rein physikalisch
den Flow. D. h. ein evtl. eingestellter höherer
Flow-Sollwert wird nicht erreicht. Der Flow
wird außerdem elektronisch so geregelt, dass
die Druckverhältnisse stabil sind.
Insuf ationsdruck, Flow und Volumen des ver-
brauchten Gases können kontinuierlich an den
Anzeigen , , , und abgelesen werden.
Sollte der Patientendruck länger als 3 Sekunden
den vorgewählten Wert um mehr als 5 mmHg
überschreiten, so ertönt ein langsam pulsierender
Warnton.
Bei Unterdruck ertönt ein schnell pulsierender
Warnton.
Nach Beendigung des Eingriffs ist das Ventil der
CO -Flasche zu schließen.

Introduce the VERESS needle and open the lock-
ing lever on its tting. Press the START/STOP but-
ton to initiate insuf ation.

NOTE: Limitation of the ow by the small di-
ameter of the VERESS needle is purely physi-
cal. This means, if the ow rate is set any
higher, it will not be reached. In addition, the
ow is controlled electronically in such a way
that pressure conditions remain stable.
The insuf ation pressure, ow and gas volume can
be read continuously on displays , ,
.
A slowly pulsating warning tone will sound if the
patient pressure exceeds the preset value by more
than 5 mmHg for longer than 3 seconds.
Another fast pulsating warning tone will sound if
the pressure should drop below the preset value.
Close the valve on the CO bottle at the end of the

procedure.

instrucciones operativas
Introduzca la aguja VERESS y abra la palanca de
cierre. Comience con el proceso de insu ación pre-
sionando la tecla de CONEXION/DESCONEXION

NOTA: El pequeño diámetro de la aguja VE-
RESS limita el ujo de forma puramente física.
Es decir, no se alcanzará un mayor valor no-
minal de ujo que se pueda haber ajustado.
Asimismo, el ujo se controla electrónicamente
de modo tal, que las relaciones de presión son
estables.
La presión de insu ación, el ujo y el volumen del
, and gas utilizado pueden leerse continuamente en los
indicadores , , , y .
Si la presión del paciente sobrepasa durante más de
3 segundos por más de 5 mmHg el valor preselec-
cionado, suena una señal de alarma con intermiten-
cia lenta.
En el caso de presión negativa suena una señal de
alarma con intermitencia rápida.
Después de haber concluido la intervención, cierre la
válvula de la botella de CO .
