There are two possible ways to enter a name or a telephone number:
Either you may use the device and its display keys to make an entry:
Press the key to select the desired character. The cursor will automa-
tically move to the next character after a short period without any key
having been pressed. Press the key to delete the previous character.
Use the OK key to terminate entry of name or telephone number.
Or you may use a telephone with DTMF dialling to remotely make an
entry:
In case you choose to remotely set-up your device, please use the
letter code on your telephone keypad (cf. configuration step 61). How-
ever, there is no possibility to select upper and lower case characters.
When entering a name or a telephone number into your telephone
book, the following key assignment equally applies:
* = Terminate entry
0 = Special symbols
# = Delete character
Display or delete an existing entry in your telephone book:
To display an existing entry in your telephone book, please select
the corresponding menu item. Then the name and the corresponding
telephone number will be displayed. Use the display key OK (or the *
key on a telephone with DTMF dialling) to delete the selected entry.
Press any other display key to return to the previous menu.
How to stop editing telephone book entries?
To stop editing telephone book entries, please select the menu item
