Optional installation of additional boards
leads to an increased scope of applications
of your Behnke door intercom's main board.
You need enough room within the electronics
box used to install additional boards. For door
intercom devices with built-in electronics, the
additional board may be directly connected to
the main board. In case the electronics were
installed in a separate installation, you will
need a special adapter plus cable for connec-
tion purposes. Depending on the additional
board in use, other accessory equipment may
be necessary or useful. You need an analogue
Behnke door intercom to use the Electronic
Add-On Voice / Display / Real Time clock.
Using 20-0013 / 20-0014
(because of double basic electronics, only possible with special
module S000234, in distribution box. Operation only possible in
distribution box)

The Electronic Add-On Voice / Display / Real
Time Clock combines battery-buffered clock,
voice messaging function and control elec-
tronics to connect a display module on one
additional board. The display module to use
the display module function of this electro-
nic add-on is sold separately. This device is
sold with the cables necessary to establish a
connection to the present electronics add-on
and to a serial port. Generally, the electro-
nics add-on Voice / Display / Real Time Clock
needs power supply of 12 V - 15 V=. Several
time-controlled functions may be run without
an additional power supply (cf. configuration
steps 40 to 49).
