Performing a reset will return the configuration step codes 61 to 69
to their default settings. In case both the Electronics Add-On Voice /
Display / Real Time Clock and an additional 12 V power supply are con-
nected, all text messages saved will be erased and will return to their
default settings.
Display, delete, enter or edit text messages:

We recommend using the Software
BT Display V1.28 (cf. description starting on page 62) to enter text
messages.
1 = Enter Text message no. 1
2 = Enter Text message no. 2
3 = Enter Text message no. 3
4 = Enter Text message no. 4
5 = Enter Text message no. 5
Enter configuration step code 61 and the text message number you
wish to enter or edit. Once the text message is displayed, the device
will prompt you to enter or edit the desired text message by producing
a beep. In case you add the * symbol prior to the text message num-
ber, the previously saved text will be deleted before editing. A text
message may hold up to 80 characters. To enter the characters use
the letter codes on your telephone keypad, e.g. A=2; B=22; C=222;
D=3; E=33 etc. After you have started entering a character, the entry
will move to the next character if you pause your entry for approx. one
second or start entering a character located on a different key.
