WINDING THE IRONING COVERS

(See pictures on page 5:6-5:7)
1. Wind the jute cover C forwards approx. 25 cm.
2. To wrap the ironing roller, press the buttons of steam settings
min. 17A and max. 17C. This means that the ironing roller
now will not lift off even when the foot pedal is operated.
3. The patting cover has a right and left side, also only one
short side of the cover is trimmed. Place the trimmed short
side on the jute cover with the left side upwards. Press the
foot pedal and wind the patting cover onto the ironing roller.
4. When winding on the patting cover, make sure that the cover
is aligned at the left and right with the ironing roller. To do
this, spread the patting cover smoothly to the right and left
by stroking with the thumb, causing it to slightly expand
outwards. After winding on the patting cover, allow the
ironing roller to rotate for approximately ten turns.
5. After the tenth turn, the end of the patting cover must lie on
the top of the ironing roller. Fold the cover downwards and
place ironing cloth A, on the patting cover with the left side
upwards. Begin with the short side of the ironing cover and
make sure that the cord ends project evenly. Operate the foot
pedal and wind the ironing cloth onto the ironing roller.
NOTE: The ironing cloth A must project evenly at both sides of the
ironing roller so that the roller remains open for ventilation.
6. Wind on the ironing cloth completely and make sure that
the end of the ironing cloth lies on the heating shoe.
7. Now tighten the cord at both ends of the roller, fi rst on the
inner and then on the outer ends of the ironing cloth.
8. Now wrap the cord ends round twice and pull them tight.
Then tie a knot and a loop. The end of the cord must
remain tensioned during the whole operation. Slide the
loop under the ironing cover and operate button 15
Continuous Steam (the steam ironer returns to the main
program) or switch the power switch 13 off and then on
again. The steam ironer restarts in the main program and
the ironing roller lifts up.

AUFWICKELN DER BÜGELBEZÜGE

1. Wickeln Sie den Jutebezug C ca. 25 cm nach vorne ab.
2. Zum Bewickeln der Bügelwalze müssen Sie die Tasten der
Dampfstufen min. 17 A und max. 17 C betätigen. Jetzt hebt die
Bügelwalze auch bei Betätigung der Fußschaltleiste nicht ab.
3. Der Patting- Bezug hat eine rechte und eine linke Seite,
zudem ist nur eine Querseite des Bezuges versäubert. Legen
Sie die versäuberte Querseite, mit der linken Seite nach oben
auf den Jutebezug. Drücken Sie die Fußschaltleiste und der
Patting- Bezug wickelt sich auf die Bügelwalze.
4. Achten Sie beim Aufwickeln des Patting- Bezuges darauf, dass
der Bezug links und rechts mit der Bügelwalze abschließt.
Dazu muss der Patting- Bezug, durch gleichmäßiges
Streichen nach rechts und links mit dem Daumen, evtl.
leicht nach außen gedehnt werden. Nach dem Aufwickeln
des Patting- Bezuges lassen Sie die Bügelwalze ca. 10
Umdrehungen laufen.
5. Nach der 10. Umdrehung muss das Ende des Patting-
Bezuges oben auf der Bügelwalze liegen. Klappen Sie den
Bezug nach unten und legen Sie das Bügeltuch A, mit der
linken Seite nach oben, auf den Patting- Bezug. Beginnen
Sie mit der kurzen Querseite des Bügeltuches und achten
Sie darauf, dass die Kordelenden gleichmäßig überstehen.
Betätigen Sie die Fußschaltleiste und das Bügeltuch wickelt
sich auf die Bügelwalze.
HINWEIS: Das Bügeltuch A muss auf beiden Seiten der Bügelwalze
gleichmäßig überstehen damit die Walze zur Belüftung offen
bleibt.
6. Wickeln Sie das Bügeltuch vollständig auf und achten Sie
darauf, dass das Ende des Bügeltuches auf dem Heizschuh
liegt.
7. Jetzt können Sie die Kordeln an beiden Walzenenden
zuerst am inneren und dann am äußeren Ende des
Bügeltuches fest anziehen.
8. Umschlingen Sie nun die Kordelenden zweimal und
ziehen Sie diese fest an. Dann binden Sie einen Knoten
und eine Schleife. Während des gesamten Vorganges
müssen die Kordelenden gespannt bleiben. Schieben
Sie die Schleife unter den Bügelbezug und betätigen Sie
die Taste 15 „Dauerdampf" (der Dampfbügler kehrt zum
Hauptprogramm zurück) oder schalten Sie den Hauptschalter
13 aus und wieder ein. Der Dampfbügler startet wieder im
Hauptprogramm und die Bügelwalze hebt ab.

OPWIKKELEN VAN DE ROLOVERTREK

1. Wind juteafdekking C ca. 25 cm naar voren op.
2. Druk op de stoominstelknoppen min. 17A en max. 17C om
de strijkrol op te wikkelen. Hierdoor zal de strijkrol niet
worden opgetild, ook niet als het pedaal wordt ingetrapt.
3. De voering heeft een rechter- en linkerkant. Alleen de korte
kant van de overtrek is dus afgewerkt. Plaats de afgeknipte
korte kant op de juteafdekking met de linkerkant naar
boven. Trap het pedaal in en wikkel de voering op de
strijkrol.
4. Controleer bij het opwikkelen van de voering of de overtrek
links en rechts wordt uitgelijnd met de strijkrol. Ga hierbij
als volgt te werk: spreid de voering links en rechts uit door
met uw duim over de overtrek te strijken, zodat de overtrek
enigszins naar buiten oprekt. Na het opwikkelen van de
voering, moet de strijkrol ca. tien omwentelingen maken.

5. Na tien omwentelingen moet het einde van de voering op de
bovenkant van de strijkrol liggen. Vouw de overtrek omlaag
en plaats strijkdoek A over de voering, met de linkerkant
naar boven. Begin met de korte kant van de rolovertrek en
controleer of de koordeinden gelijkmatig zijn uitgelijnd.
Trap het pedaal in en wikkel de strijkdoek op de strijkrol.
LET OP: strijkdoek A moet aan beide kanten van de strijkrol gelijk
worden uitgelijnd, zodat de strijkrol open blijft voor ventilatie.
