GENERAL INFORMATION ON DESCALING
GRANULATE
The descaling granulate in the lime descaling cartridge must
always remain slightly damp. Where there are long intervals
between ironing (with the water tank empty) the descaling
granulate must be moistened with water or kept apart from the
steam ironer in a sealed plastic bag. The water tank and lime
descaling cartridge must be emptied during very long intervals
between ironing, see pages 5:8, 2:8. Descaling granulate refi lls
are available from your supplier. The lime descaling cartridge
must always be outside the water tank when fi lling.
FILLING DESCALING GRANULATE FOR THE
INITIAL USE OF YOUR STEAM IRONER
Switch off the power and unplug
1. Remove the cap of fi ller opening 4 by pulling upwards and
remove the lime descaling cartridge from the water tank.
2. Rotate the cap of the cartridge counter clockwise and pull
upwards to open the lime descaling cartridge. Remove the
sieve by tapping the lime descaling cartridge onto a table
plate.
3. Fill the lime descaling cartridge using the granulate refi ll.
The complete contents of the bag must be poured into the
cartridge. Place the sieve into the lime descaling cartridge
with the exceeding rim showing to the top. Press the
descaling granulate slightly by means of the sieve and fl ush
the outside of the lime descaling cartridge.
4. Close the lime descaling cartridge. Place the cover on top
and turn it clockwise until it slips down a further step and
then twist it in the direction of the arrow to seal. Place the
lime descaling cartridge into the water tank. Press the cap
onto the fi ller opening.
NOTE: Make sure that the lime descaling cartridge is pushed down
fully, otherwise water fl ows underneath the cartridge and the
LED 20, is activated after approximately 1 minute.
If the descaling granulate used display - LED 20, is again
triggered approximately 1 min. after fi lling the lime descaling
cartridge with granulate, proceed as follows:

- Switch off the power and unplug.
- Push the lime descaling cartridge down fully.
- Put the plug back in and switch on the power. The fault
should now be rectifi ed.

ENTKALKERHARZ
Das Entkalkerharz in der Entkalkungskassette ist immer etwas
feucht zu halten. Bei längeren Bügelpausen (mit leerem
Wasserbehälter) müssen Sie das Entkalkerharz mit Wasser
anfeuchten oder in einem verschließbaren Plastikbeutel
außerhalb Ihres steam ironers aufbewahren.
Bei einer sehr langen Bügelpause muss der Wasserbehälter und
die Entkalkungskassette geleert werden, siehe Seite 5:8, 2:8.
Nachfüllpackungen des Entkalkerharzes erhalten Sie in Ihrem
Pfaff Fachgeschäft.
Die Entkalkungskassette darf nur außerhalb des
Wasserbehälters gefüllt werden.
FÜLLEN DES ENTKALKERHARZES BEIM
ERSTMALIGEN BENUTZEN IHRES STEAM
IRONERS
1. Ziehen Sie den Verschluss der Einfüllöffnung 4 nach
oben ab und entnehmen Sie die Entkalkungskassette des
Wasserbehälters.
2. Öffnen Sie die Entkalkungskassette indem Sie den
Deckel der Patrone nach links drehen und nach oben
abziehen. Entnehmen Sie das Sieb durch Klopfen der
Entkalkungskassette auf eine Tischplatte.
3. Füllen Sie eine Nachfüllpackung des Entkalkerharzes in die
Entkalkungskassette ein. Es muss der gesamte Beutelinhalt in
die Entkalkungskassette gefüllt werden. Setzen Sie das Sieb
in die Entkalkungskassette ein, der überstehende Rand zeigt
dabei nach oben. Drücken Sie das Entkalkerharz, mit Hilfe
des Siebes, leicht an und spülen Sie die Entkalkungskassette
außen kurz ab.
