FUNCTION OF OPERATOR'S CONSOLE

Power Switch button - 13
Immediately after the Power Switch 13 is switched on,
the green LED 18 Power On illuminates. The LED of the
preselected heat setting 14 fl ashes red until the temperature is
reached. It then changes to a steady light. Do not switch off the
power until the ironing roller has been completely raised, and
then unplug
Remaining Water level display - 19
LED 19 Remaining Water illuminates blue if there is no water
or there is only 10% water in the water tank. The water tank
must now be fi lled before any further steam ironing, see page
2:4.
Descaling Granulate Used display - 20
LED 20 Descaling Granulate Used illuminates blue when the
descaling granulate in the lime descaling cartridge has been
used up, see page 2:8.
Heat Settings buttons - 14
The red LED of the preselected Heat Setting 14 fl ashes when
the steam ironer is switched on. Select the required heat
setting for ironing and wait until the corresponding LED shows
a steady red light. If a new temperature setting is selected
(including a lower setting), the corresponding LED fl ashes
until the selected temperature is reached. Your 580/560 steam
ironer has fi ve different heat settings, i.e. Synthetic, Silk, Wool,
Cotton and Linen.
NOTE: Ironing with steam is not possible at heat settings Synthetic
and Silk, and this is indicated by symbols.
Continuous Steam button - 15
When button 15 Continuous Steam is pressed, the blue LED
illuminates. At the same time one of the buttons for steam

settings 17, A, B or C fl ashes blue until the steam generator
has heated up. The LED then remains illuminated and steam
generation begins. The steam ironer now produces steam
even if the foot pedal is not pressed and it is possible to select
between three steam settings (min. A, medium B and max. C).
Demand Steam button - 16
When button 16 Demand Steam is pressed, the blue LED
illuminates. At the same time one of the buttons for steam
settings 17, A, B or C fl ashes blue until the steam generator
has heated up. The LED then remains illuminated and steam
generation begins. It is now possible to select between three
steam settings min. A, medium B and max. C. The steam ironer
now only produces steam for settings B to C when the foot
pedal is pressed, see page 1:4.
Steam Setting buttons - 17
By means of the three buttons 17, A, B and C, it is possible to
vary the amount of steam for the different steam settings.
17 A for minimum steam, 17 B for medium steam, 17 C
for maximum steam. The corresponding LED fl ashes until
the steam generator has heated up. The LED then remains
illuminated and steam generation begins.

FUNKTIONEN DES BEDIENPULTES
Taste „Hauptschalter" - 13
Sobald Sie den Hauptschalter 13 einschalten leuchtet die
LED- Anzeige 18 „Netz ein" Grün auf. Die LED- Anzeige
der vorgewählten Heizstufe 14 blinkt Rot bis die Temperatur
erreicht ist. Danach leuchtet diese dauerhaft. Schalten Sie den
Hauptschalter immer erst dann aus, wenn die Bügelwalze ganz
abgehoben ist und ziehen Sie danach den Netzstecker
Anzeige „Restwasser" - 19
Die LED- Anzeige 19 „Restwasser" leuchtet Blau auf,
sobald kein Wasser bzw. sich nur noch ca. 10% Wasser im
Wasserbehälter befi ndet. Spätestens jetzt sollten Sie den
Wasserbehälter auffüllen, sofern Sie mit Dampf weiter bügeln,
siehe Seite 2:4.
Anzeige „Entkalkerharz verbraucht" - 20
Die LED- Anzeige 20 „Entkalkerharz verbraucht" leuchtet
Blau auf, wenn das Entkalkerharz in der Entkalkungskassette
verbraucht ist, siehe Seite 2:8.
Taste „Heizstufen" - 14
Nach dem Einschalten Ihres steam ironers, blinkt die Rote
LED- Anzeige der vorgewählten Heizstufe 14. Wählen Sie Ihre
gewünschte Heizstufe zum Bügeln an und warten Sie bis die
entsprechende LED- Anzeige dauerhaft Rot leuchtet. Wird
eine neue Temperaturstufe angewählt (auch niedriger), blinkt
die entsprechende LED- Anzeige so lange, bis die angewählte
Temperatur wieder erreicht ist. Ihr steam ironer 580/560
verfügt über fünf unterschiedliche Heizstufen. Synthetik,
Seide, Wolle, Baumwolle und Leinen.
HINWEIS: Bei den Heizstufen Synthetik und Seide ist es nicht
möglich mit Dampf zu bügeln, was durch Symbole dargestellt ist.
