Danger!
Dangerous electrical voltage
Terminals can carry dangerous electrical voltage − also if the motor is stopped or after
the mains is switched off!
Possible consequences:
Death or severe injuries when touching live terminals.

Protective measures:
Before all operations on the controller
Switch off the mains voltage and wait for at least 3 minutes.
ƒ
Check whether terminals are isolated from supply, since
ƒ
the power terminals U, V, W, +UG, −UG, BR1, BR2, and the pins of the FIF interfaces
–
still carry dangerous voltage for at least 3 minutes after power−off.
the power terminals L1, L2, L3; U, V, W, +UG, −UG, BR1, BR2, and the pins of the FIF
–
interfaces carry dangerous voltage when the motor is stopped.
the relay outputs K11, K12, K14 can carry dangerous voltage when the drive
–
controller is disconnected from the mains.

Before working on the device, the personnel must ensure that they are free of
electrostatic charge by using appropriate measures.

Note!
An earth−leakage circuit breaker between the supplying mains and the controller can be
activated by mistake ...
by capacitive compensation currents of the cable shields during operation
ƒ
(especially with long, shielded motor cables),
by simultaneous connection of several controllers to the mains supply,
ƒ
if additional interference filters are used.
