4. Operating elements and their operation

The «MERKUR, MARS, JUPITER, URANUS, VENUS, NEPTUN» series is distin-
guished by its very easy operation:

- pull: to open combustion air supply
- push: to close combustion air supply
- turn to left: to open combustion air supply
- turn to right: to close combustion air supply
Note: If the fireplace insert is in operation, the com-
bustion air shutter may never be closed!
outside/fresh air valve
If the fireplace insert can also be operated when the
door is open, there is - in addition to the combustion
air shutter - an outside/fresh air valve which must re-
main open during open operation.

door will only be opened for cleaning and repairing
purposes:
1. completely push up door
2. pull lock slider pull handle towards yourself and
push it up until it is locked
3. completely pull down door
4. open door
5. for closing the door, push it towards the appliance
6. completely push up door
7. pull lock slider pull handle towards yourself and
push it down until it is locked
8. completely pull down door
push door handle to the left
door can be opened
as for design A1, the door will close
itself
otherwise, the door can be pushed into
the lock using the door handle
