Only perform maintenance in cold condition
Cover fireplace and floor
Hinge-sided door guide - HK appliances
The hinge-sided door guide should be cleaned and
lubricated depending on how often the installation is
used but at least twice per season.
Proceed as follows:
1 Completely lift up furnace door.
2 Thoroughly clean C rail on the inside, if accessible,
with a cloth.
3 Lubricate C rail on the inside, if accessible, with the
"Rüegg Multispray DW-40" provided with the oper-
ation set.
4 Completely push down furnace door and open it.
5 Lubricate guide rollers on top and at the bottom, if
accessible, with the "Rüegg Multispray DW-40"
provided with the operation set.
6 close furnace door and pull up and down several
times over the entire length
7 Repeat points 3 and 5, if required.
8 Wipe off unwanted multispray which might have
accumulated at the bottom of the C rail.
Lock-sided door guide - HK appliances
The rollers of the lock-sided door guide should be
cleaned and lubricated depending on how often the in-
stallation is used but at least twice per season.
Proceed as follows:
1 Open furnace door (instructions on p. 12).
2 Thoroughly clean idler rollers on top and at the bot-
tom with a cloth
3 Lubricate idler rollers on top and at the bottom with
the "Rüegg Multispray DW-40" provided with the
operation set
4 Turn each roll several times in both directions
5 Wipe off unwanted multispray using a cloth
