Instruction manual
Duly remove the ash from the furnace at regular inter-
vals. This means that you must remove the ash after
approx. 7-10 operating hours.
If the furnace is not cleaned at regular intervals, there
is the risk that the combustion air holes get clogged
and the appliance is damaged.
The appliance should only be cleaned when cold. The
fire may never be extinguished with water. It must be
observed that ember particles will not fall onto the
floor when cleaning the furnace.
Never clean door when hot.
The fireplace bench and the floor must be covered
before cleaning.
Unlock door and open it completely.
Spray glass with the Rüegg door cleaner provided
with the operation set and let it soak shortly.
Wipe off dissolved dirt with an absorbent cloth or pa-
per towels.
If required, subsequently clean glass with warm water
(avoids streaking).
Have it regularly cleaned by an approved expert ac-
cording to local requirements.
