b) Function "Motion detection"

The screen/DVR records the camera image only when a motion is recognised in the recording area. The sensitivity of
motion detection can be set in 3 stages.
• After calling the function, you can separately activate the recording/motion detection for each of the four possible
radio cameras (one is enclosed, up to three more can be ordered as accessories).
• Select the desired radio camera (channel) with the control buttons "

The setting options are available:
- 3-level settings of the sensitivity for motion detection (the higher the sensitivity is set, the smaller changes in the
camera screen will be sufficient to start the recording)
- Switching motion detection on/off (with the motion detection switched on, the screen/DVR records the camera
image when changes are found in the camera image, e.g. if a person enters the recording area)
- Setting the duration for which the recording continues to run when no movement in the recording area is found
anymore
- Selection of the image section of the camera that is used for motion detection
You can only select an image section when a radio camera is registered at the respective channel.
After you have selected the setting option for the image area and pushed the button "OK" (9), the video
image of the camera appears divided into 3 x 3 areas.
Use the four control buttons "
the image areas. Push the "OK" (9) button to switch the area on or off.
If the area is on, a "V" appears in the LC display. This area is used for motion detection.
Use the "MENU" (6) button to save the setting and leave setting mode.
Observe:
• The screen/DVR records the camera image in this operating mode only when motion detection is on (see above).
• If the sensitivity is set too high, there may be wrong recordings, since small changes (e.g. moving foliage of a tree)
will already cause it to activate.
• When the recording time is longer than 5 minutes, a separate file is saved every 5 minutes.
