Switching units for barometric pressure

On the top right next to the time display, you can read the present barometric pressure with the
correspondingly set unit (inHg, hPa/mBar, mmHg).
Switch between the units as follows:
• Hold the "UNIT" button on the back down until the unit (inHg, hPa/mBar, mmHg) flashes.
• Select the desired unit with the " " and " " buttons on the back of the weather station.
• Confirm the setting by briefly pressing the "UNIT" button.

Barometric pressure at sea level/local, altitude

Normally, "Local" appears next to the reading display. This indicates that the barometric
pressure is calculated/displayed for the current altitude.
By pressing the "PRESSURE/ALTITUDE" button briefly, you can switch between the display
of the local barometric pressure ("LOCAL"), the display for calculating the barometric pressure
at sea level ("SEA LEVEL") and the altitude set by you.
The barometric pressure readings which you get from e.g. the radio or Internet are always
converted to sea level. If you get a current local barometric pressure reading, this can be
entered in the weather station as a reference value.
• With the "PRESSURE/ALTITUDE" button, switch to the sea level display ("SEA LEVEL" on
the display).
• Press the "PRESSURE/ALTITUDE" button until the display of the barometric pressure
flashes (hold button down for about 2 seconds).
• You can now set the barometric pressure reading with the " " and " " buttons on the back
of the weather station.
• Confirm the setting by briefly pressing the "PRESSURE/ALTITUDE" button.

By setting the barometric pressure reading at sea level, the altitude set during
the initial start-up automatically changes!
