Battery type „LiPo", „LiFe", „LiIon"
„CHARGE" In this programme, LiPo, LiFe and LiIon rechargeable batteries are charged according to the
current set. This setting is ideal for 1-cell lithium rechargeable batteries. For multiple-cell lithium
rechargeable batteries (with balancer connection cable), the charging function „BAL. CHARGE"
is more suitable, since the different voltages of the individual cells are balanced during charging.
„DISCHARGE" This programme serves to discharge LiPo, LiFe and LiIon rechargeable batteries.
„STORAGE" With this charger function, you can charge or discharge lithium rechargeable batteries to storage
voltage. Then the rechargeable batteries can be stored, e.g. during winter.
„FAST CHG" In this programme, a small amount of the max. possible charging capacity of the rechargeable
battery is dispensed with, but the charging time is much shorter.
„BAL. CHARGE" This is the recommended charging programme for multiple-cell lithium rechargeable batteries,
since this function balances out the different voltage positions of the individual cells of a battery
pack via the balancer connection.
„VOLT METER" This charger function shows you the voltages of the individual cells of a battery pack.
Battery type „NiCd" and „NiMH"
„CHARGE" This function charges the rechargeable batteries with the current set.
„AUTO CHG" In this function, the charger automatically coordinates the charging current with the connected
rechargeable battery for a best charging result.
For rechargeable batteries with a low capacity and low internal resistance, limit the charging
current to avoid damage from too-high charging currents.
„DISCHARGE" This programme serves to discharge NiCd and NiMH rechargeable batteries.
„RE-PEAK" In this programme, the rechargeable battery is automatically charged to its maximum value 1x,
2x or 3x in sequence. This enables you to check whether the rechargeable battery has been
charged completely and how well the rechargeable battery has handled quick charging.
„CYCLE" In this programme, the connected rechargeable battery is charged and discharged up to 5x to
achieve its maximum capacity. This function can be used to refresh older rechargeable batteries
and make them fit again.
„VOLT METER" This charger function shows you the total voltage of the rechargeable battery or the battery pack.
