• Touch the input field „CAPACITY" to check or set the capacity
of the rechargeable battery to be charged.
• The display changes to the capacity menu. You can use the
two upper buttons „|-" and „+}" to set the correct capacity
value „CAPACITY" of the rechargeable battery to be charged.
• Depending on rechargeable battery, the „CHARGE CUR-
RENT" and „DISCHARGE CURRENT" is pre-set at the same
time.
The charge and discharge current always corresponds to the
capacity value (1C), with the two values also being individu-
ally adjustable with the buttons „|-" and „+}".
• To confirm the setting value, contact the button „ENTER" and
the start display is shown again.
The charge/discharge current values set also appear in the
header bar display fields at the same time.
Caution, important!
Always observe the rechargeable battery manufacturer's information regarding the max. charge/dischar-
ge current.
If the maximum permissible charge/discharge current for the rechargeable battery is exceeded, there is
a danger of destroying the rechargeable battery. There also is a danger of fire and explosion! For more
notes on the max. charging current, see the data sheets or the rechargeable battery label.
If there is no information, charge/discharge rechargeable batteries with the value suggested by the char-
ger and monitor the rechargeable battery temperature during charging. The charger has a sensor input
for this (see figure 2, item 6) to which an external temperature sensor (e.g. Conrad item no. 235076) can
be connected.
Please observe that the charging output is max. 200 W. The max. possible charge current of 12 A is only
reached up to a charging voltage of approx. 16 V. If a higher charging voltage is needed, the charging current
will reduce automatically according to the maximum output.
