8. Loosen the frame hinge clamp (26)
to enable folding.

10. Fold the disconnected frame (27)
fully to the left. The steering tube is
not between the two frame parts now,
but on the outside.
11. Click the magnetic fastener on
the axles into place. The disconnected
frame is held in place by this fastener.

The bicycle is now folded up.

UNFOLDING YOUR BICYCLE

1. Loosen the magnetic fastener on the

axles. Reassemble the frame and place
the bicycle on the stand.
Make sure that none of the cables be-
come jammed in the frame hinge.
2. Secure the frame hinge clamp. A
certain degree of strength is required
to turn the quick release lever. If the
quick release lever is too loose, have it
adjusted by your Batavus dealer.

3. Turn the front wheel back into place
and pull up the steering tube.
4. Secure the handlebar hinge clamp as
described in point 2. The clamp must be
securely fi xed!
Make sure that none of the cables be-
come jammed in the handlebar hinge.
5. Loosen the Ergo Matic steering pin
and put it back into the original posi-
tion.
6. Raise the saddle pin to the correct
height. A certain degree of strength is
required to turn the quick release lever.
The resistance is adjustable. Ensure that
the maximum safety height mark is in
