Proper Use

Important: Auerswald products are not designed, manufactured, or
intended for use or resale, in environments that require fail-safe perfor-
mance, such as in the operation of life-support systems and/or nuclear facil-
ities. Our products can only be used for these purposes with prior written
permission from Auerswald in each individual case.
Important: Improper use may, for example, cause functional restrictions or
interference, the destruction of the device or, in a worst case scenario, per-
sonal injury.
The COMfortel 1400 IP is a VoIP telephone which can be operated in a Local
Area Network (LAN) as Auerswald VoIP system telephone and/or standard
VoIP telephone. The telephone can administer up to 100 VoIP accounts. One
of these accounts can be used as the system telephone account.
For operation as an Auerswald system telephone, one of the following Auers-
wald PBXs is required:

The telephone is intended for use in closed, dry rooms.
