* Where the installation is not level, this may
lead to the column body being warped, which
then may result in problems concerning the
columns' waterproofness.

Instructions for Stainless Steel Vertical Column Installation
Guide the connection cables through the
column mount, prior to screwing the column
mount to the foundation. Fix the column mount
to the concrete foundation e.g. by using hex
screws and plugs, stud bolts or stay bolts (see
chapter "1. Foundation sketch" on page 31).
We recommend using screws etc. with a 12 mm
diameter and a length of 180 mm minimum.
Important! Please adhere to the torque
indication for tightening as provided by the
screw manufacturer.
Please note: These parts are not included in the
box.
Put the column's base cover on the column
mount. Please note that you cannot insert the
column's base cover at a later stage due to the
air vents in the column body.
Guide the cables through the column body
and then guide the column body through the
column mount. Screw the column onto the
foundation (mounting material to fix the column
body to the foundation is included). Connect
the Series 20/30 device to the infrastructure
(cf. included manual for Series 20/30 basic
electronics) and test their functioning.
First install the door intercom station and
then the cover panel(s) into the column and use
clamping plates to fix them.
Use the angle plate to fix the lowest cover
panel.
Then move down the column's base cover.
