d) Mounting the Wing
The wings are installed in the fuselage slots on the left
and right.
For this, push the wing connector (2) into one of the
wings (1) so that the V-shape of the wing connector
points up.
Push the wing connector (2) into the hole of the fuselage
centre part (hole in the wood receptacle).
Push the plug of the aileron servo onto the counterpart
(3) that protrudes from the fuselage.
Carefully push the wing half into the cut-out at the
fuselage until the shaping of the wing is flush with the
fuselage.
Observe that the servo cable is not caught but pushed
into the fuselage.
Then install the second wing half on the fuselage in
the same manner.

e) Securing the Wings for Flight Operation

The fits of wing and wing receptacle at the fuselage
(slots) usually warrant sufficient clamping for regular
flight operation.
Due to permissible tolerances and/or repeated
installation and removal of wings, however, the
clamping effect may no longer be sufficient for flight
operation.
„Thickening" of the wing shapings by applying fabric
adhesive tape is not a permanent solution either
because the fuselage shaping adjusts to the wing
shaping.
Therefore, we recommend additionally securing the
wings.
For this, the wings can be fastened to the fuselage, e.g. with a strip of fabric adhesive tape (1) on the left and right.
Alternatively, you can use approx. 50 mm long, 2 mm thick round rods (e. g. toothpicks) or M2-threaded bolts for area
latching using the information in figure 7.
