Setting the Time
If the digital clock is activated on the display, you may set
the time. Press the yellow key for at least two seconds.
The display will show 12: and 24: in turn. Pressing the
key again when the display shows 24: will program the
clock to show a 24-hour display. Pressing the key when
the display shows 12: will result in a 12-hour display.
Next, the hours and minutes can be set. The time digits
automatically advance one after the other. Press the yel-
low key when the desired digits are showed on the dis-
play.
Setting the Total Mileage
The mode for the total mileage counter lets you switch
from a mileage to kilometre display and enter the wheel
circumference. To do so, press the yellow key for at least
2 seconds and then again press the key to select between
the alternating displays (km/h and m/h). The wheel cir-
cumference can be calculated on the basis of the wheel
size and can be set in the same way the clock is.
For a wheel size of 14 inches:
Conversion from 14" x 25.4 = 355.6 mm
inches to cm
C = d x p 355.6 mm x 3.1416 = 1 117 mm

The B500 power wheelchair can be equipped with
different Recaro® seat models.
To adjust the back angle of a Recaro® seat model, use
the turning handle on the right or left side of the back rest.

Risk of injury if the power wheelchair tips over!
Before driving up slopes or over obstacles, a
tilted seat must be lowered to its basic posi-
tion and the Recaro backrest be brought into
the upright position.

When standing still, the backrest may be in-
clined to the rear up to 30° only.
During driving, the backrest may be inclined to
the rear up to 20° only.
To fold down the backrest, you can use a release handle
that is located laterally at the backrest. By pulling the
release handle upward, the backrest can be folded down
to the front.
If the backrest is brought into its initial position, it auto-
matically locks in place. Verify that the backrest is
securely locked in place every time it has been unlocked!
