Operation
Letting go of the joystick automatically activates the
brake function, which brings the wheelchair to a halt.
When standing still, the mechanical brakes are automat-
ically active so the power wheelchair cannot move.
The power wheelchair has 5 speed levels. The button "M"
(see fig. 13, item 6) is used to increase the speed level.
After speed level 5, the control unit switches back to
speed level 1.
Adapting the Driving characteristics

Risk of accident and injury as a result of incor-
rect programming!
Programming bears the risk of faults, which
can result in uncontrolled driving behaviour.
For this reason, test the driving behaviour of
the power wheelchair after programming.
A hand programming device, which is to be connected
to the control panel, can be used by service staff to adapt
the speed, acceleration and deceleration values to the
individual wishes of the user.
7.3.4 Battery Indicator
The battery indicator on the LCD display consists of
7 segments and shows the remaining battery capacity.

Immediately after switching the power wheel-
chair on, the battery indicator shows the bat-
tery capacity saved before the wheelchair
was switched off the last time. The exact state
of the remaining capacity will be displayed af-
ter driving for a short time.
A charge of 100% corresponds to 7 full segments on the
battery symbol. If one segment disappears, this means
that the battery's capacity has decreased by approxi-
mately 14%. The distance range on level ground is
approx. 35 km, which means that each segment corre-
sponds to a distance range of approximately 5 km if the
speed is kept constant.
If the last segment flashes, the battery must be charged
immediately.
If all the segments have disappeared and the battery
symbol is flashing, the battery is under voltage. Since any
further use will lead to battery damage, a warning signal
also appears.
If the battery symbol and all the segments are flashing,
this means that the battery is over voltage.
Since this will lead to battery damage, a warning symbol
also appears.
