BASIC OPERATION
GAMMA SELECTION
Gamma is an image quality enhancement function that gives a richer image
by
brightening
the darker and more obscure portions of the image without altering the brightness of the
brighter portions, thereby making the entire image easier to see .
• Five Gamma settings are available to allow for differences in the images played and in
the brightness ofthe room .
• When you are watching a recording with frequent dark scenes, such as a Aim or concert,
or when you are watching a recording in a bright room, fhis feature makes the darker
scenes easier to see and gives the impression of greater depth in the image.
