9.1 To store and recall the parameters (P 4050)
The generator has 5 storage locations in non-volatile memory. The generator uses location 0# to hold the
factory default settings and location 1#~4# to hold the parameters user set, which include almost all
parameters indicates instrument state such as frequency, amplitude, offset and so on. Follow the steps to
store and recall setting parameters of specified location.
9.1.1 Press【System】key to enter the interface of system setting.
9.1.2 Press〖Recall〗softkey to select "Recall". Then set location by using numeric keys or knob and recall
the state parameters of the location.
9.1.3 Press〖Recall〗softkey to select "state store" and set location by using numeric keys or knob. Then
press〖Yes〗softkey to store the current state parameters in the location.
At power-on, the generator automatically recalls the state parameters of location 1#. So
user can store the common state parameters in location 1# to make the instrument come
into the expected working state at power-on.

10.1 Parameter calibration(1)
The parameter errors in specification are the indexes when leaving factory. It is possible to increase for long-
time using and large temperature changing. In precision measurement, the generator should be calibrated.
Pressing the key of (Cal.) and selecting "Item Cal", the parameter calibration interface is displayed. The
frequency and offset of the generator can be calibrated by the number keys or by the knob.
10.1.1 Code calibrating:
Pressing the key of (Option 4) and selecting "Cal. Code", the value of code calibrating is changed to green.
The number of 6000 is entered by the number keys. Pressing the key of (ok), "Calibrate disenable now" will
be in red. Calibrate as followings.
10.1.2 Calibrating of frequency of channel A:
Pressing the key of (Option 1) and selecting "CHA Freq", the frequency of channel A will be changed to
green. It can be entered by the number keys or the knob (1 MHz is recommended). Pressing the key of
(Option 4) and selecting "Cal. Code", the calibrating code of channel A will be changed to green. Use the
cymometer with the accuracy of over six-digit to measure the frequency of channel A. At the same time,
modify the calibrating code by the knob.
The frequency of channel A will be changed until the accuracy is calibrated up to 10
synthesizer of channel B and the synthesizer of channel A use the same fixed clock reference, the
frequency of channel B has the same accuracy as the frequency of channel A.
10.1.3 Calibrating of carrier frequency:
In the frequency modulation, carrier synthesizer uses controllable clock reference. Although the carrier
frequency is still the frequency of channel A, it should be calibrated in addition. Pressing the key of (Option
2) and selecting "Carrier F", the carrier frequency will be changed to green. It can be entered by the number
