Cutting of edges and slats (Fig. 17)
Tool: circular saw blade for fine cuts
Process steps: Mount the longitudinal stop with a low contact area or use
an additional stop. Move the workpiece forward with the push stick until the
end of the workpiece reaches the splitting wedge. Secure long workpieces
against tilting with a bench extension at the end of the cutting process.
Note: Devices that have to be connected with parts of the machine have

to be fixed with screws; only auxiliary connections to the machine can be
made with screw clamps.

Cross cutting narrow workpieces (Fig. 18)
Tool: cross cutting blade with fine teeth
Process steps: Adjust the rod so that the workpiece cut-offs cannot touch
the ascending part of the saw blade. Move the workpieces with cross stops
or cross pushers.
Do not use your hands to remove waste from the workpiece.
