Practical tips:
If the amount of water that leaks into the boat starts to increase, this usually indicates that there is no
lubricant left in the shaft. If this occurs, the shaft may need to be lubricated; dismount it before lubricating if
required. See "Maintenance and Cleaning" for instructions on how to do this.
If the speed controller turns off the motor unexpectedly, the speed controller may have overheated. Allow the speed
controller to cool down. Establish the cause of the problem (the water cooling system may be leaking, or the motor
may not be spinning properly) and take appropriate action.
If the speed controller turns off the motor unexpectedly and the red LED is flashing on the receiver, this indicates
that the speed controller is not receiving a signal from the receiver due to poor reception. Establish the cause of the
problem (the receiver antenna may be wet or hidden inside the hull) and take appropriate action.

11. Replacing the propeller

Proceed as follows to replace the propeller:
• Disconnect the battery from the speed controller; ensure that the plug is fully disconnected.
• Use a suitable tool to remove the lock nut from the propeller. To remove the lock nut, turn it to the left while holding
the propeller in place.
Attention!
The propeller has very sharp edges. To avoid injuring yourself while replacing the propeller, make sure you
wrap it in a suitable cloth.
• Remove the propeller from the shaft.
• Attach the new propeller to the shaft in a way that the notches on the propeller click into the notches on the drive
shaft.
• Secure the propeller to the lock nut that you previously removed.
