9. Using the transmitter

Use the steering wheel (A) to control the direction of travel. Turn the wheel left to move the model boat to the left, or
right to move the boat to the right.
Use the lever (B) to control the direction of travel (forwards/backwards) and the speed. Pull the lever towards the
handle to move the model boat forwards. The more you pull the lever towards the handle, the faster the motor spins
and the more speed is increased.
Press the lever forwards (away from the handle) to move the model boat backwards. The more you push the lever
forwards, the faster the motor spins and the more speed is increased. The motor is off when the lever is the central
(neutral) position.
Open the flap (C) on the transmitter to access the other controls located there.
Locate the sliding switch (D) below. Use it to turn the transmitter ON and OFF. When the transmitter is switched on,
the red LED power indicator (E) on the left is on.
When the inserted batteries are almost empty and have reached a certain voltage level, the red LED power
indicator will flash to indicate that the batteries need to be replaced. If this happens, discontinue use im-
mediately, as exhausted batteries drastically reduce the range of the remote control and may cause you to
lose control of the model boat. Always replace all of the batteries at the same time.
