6.3 Error messages on the screen and solutions

When there is an error message, the LED bar turns orange, the screen background goes red
and an acoustic alarm sounds. The volume can be changed in the settings (see Section 4 or 5,
respectively). In addition, the alarm tone can be muted for two minutes using the
housing.
Please proceed as follows:
1. When an error message appears, mute the alarm tone
2. Resolve the problem

Possible cause

Container is not
connected.
Connections open.
Wound dressing
or connections not
tightly sealed.
Remedy
The container and exudate pouch may
not be connected to the device properly.
The cause may also be a collapsed
exudate pouch.
Or a connection between the tubes may
be open.
Please check the points above and
re-establish all connections if necessary.
The tubes might not be connected
properly or the dressing itself is not
sealed tight.
Please check both possibilities,
reconnect the tubes using the
single-piece connector or improve
the seal on the dressing.
