4.9 Starting the therapy and seal level

Regular patient monitoring
• Careful and regular patient monitoring is absolutely essential, particularly in the case of
heavily exuding wounds, wounds with viscous or heavily sedimenting exudate and
where there is a risk of severe bleeding (see Section 1.4.4 "Precautionary measures").
• In this situation, special attention should be given to exudate accumulated in the
