3.6 Placing the Suprasorb
universal mount
The device can be safely used both in the horizontal position and when mounted in the supplied
bed mount. There is also a universal mount available for the device. The procedure for inserting
the device in the bed mount and the universal mount is the same.

1. Push the Suprasorb
with connected container system into the
bed mount/universal mount from right to left,
as shown in the diagram. When doing so,
ensure that the side with the screen is facing
you.
2. The Suprasorb
connected container system is inserted
when the feet of the device click into place in
the recesses on the bottom strut of the bed
mount (see mark on the diagram below). To
secure it into place, move the green lever on
the top of the bed mount/universal mount to
the left.
3. The Suprasorb
connected container system can also be
inserted into the bed mount/universal mount
or removed from it when the bed mount/
universal mount is attached to the sides of
the patient's bed.
