Important points to follow when performing mobile negative pressure
therapy at home
Patients need to be instructed in the proper use of the Suprasorb
if therapy is to be performed in their home environment. In addition, it is imperative
that trained healthcare professionals regularly monitor the wound dressing and the
negative pressure system.
• Use of negative pressure therapy is suitable only for patients whose clinical condition
WARNING
permits treatment at home (adequate haemostasis, low risk of haemorrhaging).
• The patient, relatives or carer must be capable of reading and understanding
the safety information, reacting appropriately to error messages and following the
instructions.
