3.3 Insertion of the Suprasorb

Exudate pouch
• Ensure that the exudate pouch for the container system of the Suprasorb
is replaced regularly. When the exudate pouch is full, the integrated overflow
prevention system is triggered. This interrupts the therapy.
CAUTION
• Switch the device to Pause mode when replacing the exudate pouch.
Collapsing exudate pouch
• A leak in the container or the cover of the exudate pouch may result in air entering
the container. This, in turn, may cause the exudate pouch to collapse.
• When assembling the container system, ensure that the side plate of the exudate
pouch is securely connected to the container.
PLEASE NOTE
• Ensure that all connections are secure and established correctly.
• Ensure that neither the container nor the exudate pouch is damaged.
• Please also follow the instructions for use supplied with these products.
