► If working with the self-propulsion engaged:
Move the lawn mower forward in a controlled
manner.
► If working with the self-propulsion disengaged:
Push the lawn mower forward slowly and in a
controlled manner.

Emptying the grass catcher box

The flow of air generated by the blade raises the
level indicator (1, A). When the grass catcher
box is full, the air flow stops, and the level indica‐
tor (1, B) drops to its resting state. This is an indi‐
cation that the grass catcher box (2) needs to be
emptied.
The functionality of the level indicator (1) is
restricted if the flow of air is impaired. External
influences such as wet, dense or high grass, low
cutting height, dirt or the like can impair the flow
of air and the functionality of the level indica‐
tor (1).
► If the level indicator (1) drops to its resting
state: Release the control bar for mowing.
The blade is then disengaged and comes to a
standstill within 3 seconds.
► Detach the grass catcher box (2).

► Open the locking tab (3).
► Fold open the upper part (4) of the grass
catcher box by the handle (5) and hold it there.
► Hold the grass catcher box (2) with your other
hand on the lower handle (6) and empty it.
► Attach the grass catcher box (2).

► Stop the engine.
► If the lawn mower is wet: allow the lawn
mower to dry.
► Clean the lawn mower.

13 Transporting

13.1 Transporting the lawn mower
► Shut off the engine.
The cutting blade must not be turning.
► Pull off the spark plug boot.
Pushing the lawn mower
► Push the lawn mower forward slowly and in a
controlled manner.
Carrying the lawn mower
► Wear protective gloves.
► Detach the grass catcher box.
