Chapter 1 Instructions for Use
Important
Please carefully read the instructions and warnings as well as the contraindications before first
using the device.
To prevent the risk of strangulation or suffocation the medical device and all supplied accessories must be
kept out of reach of children.
Please contact PHYSIOMED ELEKTROMEDIZIN AG (refer to
qualified person active in health services if you have problems when first using the device, or observe any
unusual function during operation.
The service life of the device is limited to 8 years. Please observe the following instructions:

A fully charged battery typically provides capacity for up 24 treatments or 8 hours of operation. The typical
service life of a battery is about 500 charging cycles.
Important
No treatment is possible while charging the battery.
How to reach the maximum service life of your battery
(a) Charge the battery before it has been completely discharged.
(b) Never charge a completely charged battery again. Overcharging reduces the service life of
the battery.
(c) Charge and store the battery at a room temperature of 20°C to 40°C.
(d) Charge the battery when you haven't used the device for a longer timespan.
(e) Fully charge the battery after every 25th charging cycle.
