Additional safety instructions

pressure specified in the technical data is not ex-
ceeded.
• Do not overload this tool – use this tool only in the
power range specified in the technical data.
• Use harmless lubricants. Ensure that the workplace
is sufficiently ventilated. In case of increased wear:
Have the compressed air tool checked and repaired
if necessary.
• Do not use this tool when you are distracted. Stay
alert, watch what you are doing and use common
sense when operating a compressed air tool. Do
not use any tool while you are tired or under the
influence of drugs, alcohol or medication. A moment
of carelessness when using the tool can result in
serious injuries.
• Keep your work area clean and well-lit. Cluttered or
dark areas invite accidents.
• Keep compressed air universal tools away from
children.
• Do not store tools unprotected outdoors or in damp
conditions.
• Protect the compressed air tool, especially the
compressed air connection and the controls, from
dust and dirt.
6. Residual risks
The product has been built according to state-of-the-
art and the recognised technical safety rules. However,
individual residual risks can arise during operation.
• Lung damage if suitable dust protection mask is not
worn.
• Hearing damage if suitable hearing protection is not
worn.
• Damage to health resulting from hand/arm vibration
if the device is used over an extended period of time
or if it is not properly operated and maintained.
• Furthermore, despite all precautions having been met,
some non-obvious residual risks may still remain.
• Residual risks can be minimised if the "Safety In-
structions" and the "Intended Use" together with the
operating manual as a whole are observed.
• Avoid accidental start-ups of the product.
• Use the tool attachment that is recommended in this
operating manual. This is how to ensure that your
product provides optimum performance.
