300 m and size complied with local code.
• Open a hole near the connection hole of power source
wiring when multiple outdoor units are connected
from one power source line.
• The recommended breaker sizes are detailed in the
"7.3.2 Wire size and Main switch protection"
• In the case that a conduit tube for field-wiring is not
used, fix rubber bushes with adhesive on the panel.
• H-LINK twist pair shielded cable must be grounded in
the outdoor unit side.
!
CAUTION
• Pay attention to the connection of the operating line. Incorrect
connection may cause the failure of PCB.
• Check to ensure that the field supplied electrical components
(mains power switches, circuit breakers, wires, connectors and
wire terminals) have been properly selected according to the
electrical data indicated on this chapter and they comply with
national and local codes. If it is necessary, contact with your local
authority in regards to standards, rules, regulations, etc.
• Use a dedicated power circuit for the indoor unit. Do not use
a power circuit shared with the outdoor unit or any other
appliance.
7.3.2 Wire size and Main switch protection
Recommended minimum sizes for field provided wires and select the main switches according to the next table:
Model
RAS-1.5WHVRP2E
RAS-2WHVRP2E
RAS-2.5WHVRP2E
RAS-3WHVRP2E
NOTE
• ELB: Earth switch; CB: Circuit breaker
• Follow local codes and regulations when selecting field wires, Circuit breakers and Earth Leakage breakers.
• Use the wires which are not lighter than the ordinary polychloroprene sheathed flexible cord (code designation 60245 IEC 57).
