Cleaning the Device
Procedure
Disconnect the device from the power supply.

Only use suitable cleaning agents and cleaning

procedures and observe the product information for
the cleaning agent used (for cleaning agent, see
Chapter "14.7 Cleaning Agent", page 51).
Remove dust and powdery sample residue with a
t
brush or hand-held vacuum cleaner.
Wipe the device and the associated components
t
with a slightly damp cloth. Use a mild soapy solution
or a suitable cleaning agent for more severe
contamination.

Installing the Analytical Draft

Procedure
If an analytical balance is used: Put the shield disk

and the weighing pan into place.
If a precision balance is used: Position the weighing
t
pan.
Connect the device to the power supply (see

Chapter 6.2, page 37).
