6.0 Control PinTherm Infra Connect via the Cloud
The following is required to register a PinTherm in the cloud.
• PinTherm
• A valid email account
• PC/phone with internet browser (Chrome, Edge, Firefox)
• A network with internet connection for the PinTherm and PC/telephone.
To register a PinTherm in the cloud, it must first be configured. The steps required for this are
discussed in section 6.1. Once the PinTherm is configured, there are two ways to register a
PinTherm in the cloud:
• With a new cloud account
• With an existing cloud account
These steps are discussed in sections 6.2 and 6.3.
6.1 PinTherm configuration
Before a PinTherm can be registered in the cloud, a number of conditions must be met. These-
conditions are:
• The PinTherm must be connected to the internet
• The time in the PinTherm must be correct
• The Cloud Enabled setting must be turned on
6.1.1 Registration procedure for PinTherm Infra Connect with WiFi module
The PinTherm Infra Connect can optionally be equipped with a WiFi module (article no.
3003870).
The WiFi configuration works as follows:
1. Connect to PC/mobile phone with WiFi network PinTherm AP
2. You have 3 minutes to connect. The SSID is always PinTherm AP and the password can be
found in the menu of the PinTherm under Network info and then under the item Password AP

a. The password is twelve characters long. The password is generated during the startup of the
PinTherm and will change when you restart the PinTherm.
b. If there is an asterisk (*) behind the password, the network "PinTherm AP" is active. If you do
not see an asterisk, the PinTherm is connected to WiFi or is trying to connect to an access point.
3. When you are connected to the PinTherm AP, you have 10 minutes to change the login details.
You do this by going to the IP address 192.168.23.2 with a web browser. You will come to the
normal internal PinTherm web interface:
