Austausch des O-Ringes im Handgriff

Bei zu hoher Schwergängigkeit beim Einführen
oder Entnehmen des Messers in/aus dem
Handgriff kann der O-Ring ausgetauscht werden.
1 HINWEIS: Ein vorsorglicher Austausch
empfiehlt sich in einem dreimonatigem
Rhythmus.

• Den Handgriff mit Einblick in die distale
(= patientennahe) Öffnung gut in der Hand
fixieren.
• Ein angespitztes Instrument am O-Ring
ansetzen und einstechen (siehe Abb. 70).
• Den O-Ring nach innen aus der Nut hebeln und
entfernen (siehe Abb. 71 und 72).
• Ggf. ist die Nut von Rückständen zu befreien/
reinigen (siehe Abb. 73).

• Den neuen O-Ring an der Nut ansetzen und per
Hand komplett in die Nut eindrücken. Funktion
mit einem Messerschaft prüfen. Dabei ist die
Messerschneide mit einer Schutzkappe zu
versehen.

Replacing the O-ring in the handle 26720 H
If the cutter can not be smoothly inserted into
or removed from the handle, the O-ring can be
replaced.
1 NOTE: Precautionary replacement is
recommended at three month intervals.
• Hold the handle firmly so that you are looking
into the distal (patient end) opening.
• Place a pointed instrument on the O-ring and
pierce the O-ring with it (see Fig. 70).
• Lever the O-ring inwards out of the groove and
lift it out (see Fig. 71 and 72).
• If necessary, all residue must be removed/
cleaned from the groove (see Fig. 73)
• Place the new O-ring on the groove and
push fully into the groove by hand. Check the
function with a cutter sheath. While doing so,
the blade must be fitted with a protective cap.
