Aufstellen und
Bedienungshinweise
1 HINWEIS: Das Gerät muss so aufgestellt
werden, dass das Netzkabel jederzeit ein-
fach gezogen werden kann.
3 WARNUNG: Der UNIDRIVE
angeschlossenes Zubehör ist nicht für den
Betrieb in explosionsgefährdeten
Bereichen bestimmt. Bei Verwendung von
explosiven Narkosegasen darf das
Motorsystem nicht in der dargestellten
Gefahrenzone betrieben werden.
Beschriftungsstreifen anbringen
1 HINWEIS: Auf dem Beschriftungsstreifen
sind die jeweiligen Bedienelemente bzw.
Anzeigen des Gerätes bezeichnet.
1. Der Beschriftungsstreifen liegt dem Gerät
in sechs Sprachen bei: Deutsch, Spanisch,
Englisch, Französisch, Italienisch und
Portugiesisch. Zutreffende Sprache auswählen.
2. Linke vordere Seitenblende mit
Schraubendreher lösen (siehe Abb. 1).
3. Gegebenenfalls vorhandenen unbeschrifteten
Platzhalter entfernen. Beschriftungsstreifen

zwischen Dekorfolie und Frontblech schieben.
4. Den Streifen an der Markierungslinie knicken,
damit die Seitenblende wieder ungehindert
angebracht werden kann.
5. Seitenblende wieder anbringen (siehe Abb. 2).
1 HINWEIS: Zusätzliche Geräte, die an medizi-
nische elektrische Geräte angeschlossen
werden, müssen nachweisbar ihren entspre-
chenden IEC oder ISO Normen entsprechen.
Weiterhin müssen alle Konfigurationen den
normativen Anforderungen für medizinische

Systeme entsprechen (siehe IEC 60601-1-1
oder Abschnitt 16 der 3. Ausgabe der IEC
60601-1, jeweilig). Wer zusätzliche Geräte an
medizinische elektrische Geräte anschließt, ist
Systemkonfigurierer und damit verantwortlich,
dass das System mit den normativen
Anforderungen für Systeme übereinstimmt.
Es wird darauf hingewiesen, dass lokale
Gesetze gegenüber obigen normativen
Anforderungen Vorrang haben.

operate the motor system within the
demarcated hazard zone while explosive
anesthetic gases are in use.
Fitting a label strip
1 NOTE: The respective controls/indicators
on the device are designated on the label
strip.
1. The label strip is enclosed with the device and
is in six languages: German, Spanish, English,
French, Italian and Portuguese. Select the
appropriate language.
2. Undo the left-hand front side cover with a
screwdriver (see Fig. 1).
3. Remove any unmarked placeholders. Select a
label strip and slide it between the plastic and
the metal front.
4. Fold the strip along the marking line so that
the side cover can be refitted without any
obstructions.
5. Replace the side cover (see Fig. 2).
1 NOTE: Additional equipment connected to
medical electrical equipment must be able
to prove its compliance with the respective
IEC or ISO standards.
Furthermore, all configurations shall comply
with the standard requirements for medical
systems (see IEC 60601-1-1 or Clause 16
of the 3rd Ed. of IEC 60601-1, respectively).
Anybody connecting additional equipment
to medical electrical equipment is a system
configurator and is therefore responsible for
the system's compliance with the standard
requirements for systems.
Please note that local laws take priority over
the above-mentioned standard
requirements.
