6.5 Energy sources
The boiler can be operated with either gas or electricity, or both at the same time. The fastest heating
is achieved by using both energy sources at the same time, since the total available effect becomes
higher. Higher effect equals faster heating. You can also prioritize what energy source should be used,
when both gas and electricity is on, and if there is a large need of heating both will activate. When the
boiler reaches the desired temperature the energy consumption reduces successively.

Heating with electricity
The consumption chosen in the menu is allowed maximum consumption, i.e. the boiler does not use
more effect that is necessary, even if e.g. 3 kW is chosen in the Control Panel.
• Press the row " Max electricity" to open the settings menu for electric effect.
• Increase or decrease the maximum allowed electric effect between 0-3 kW with the plus and minus
buttons. 0 kW equals electrical operation being shut off.
• Confirm your choice by pressing the button "Set". Cancel by pressing "Cancel".
Heating with gas/LPG
Press the control on the row " Gas" to start and turn off gas operation.
High altitude mode
High altitude mode shall only be used if the boiler will be operated on gas on a height above 1000 m
above sea level. At gas operation on high altitudes use propane for stable combustion. Varied opera-
tion conditions on high altitude can result in the boiler not always reaching full gas operation.
6.6 Settings menu
To reach the settings menu from standby mode/status page press the button "menu". Functions
marked with a star (*) are accessories. In the settings menu there are the following functions:

Night Mode. Automatically changes certain functions during the night.
Choose time interval, and if it should happen every night or a specific
night every week. This can be changed: temperature, light on status
screen, AC* in night operation and changing the sensor to the AC,
turning off hot water production and under floor heating*.
Day Mode. Automatically changes certain functions during the day.

day every week. This can be changed: temperature and hot water
production.
AC* (only Truma). Start or stop climate automatics (=AC and heating
system works together), choose which zone the AC follows.
