6. Walk-trough of the Alde Control Panel
6.1 Start and turn off the boiler
To start the boiler, press the on/off button on the Control Panel (fig. 4 item 1). The start screen is
shown (fig. 3 item 2) and the system starts up with the latest settings. When the heating system and
the control panel is on a green diode is lit on the on/off button.
To turn off the heating system, press the on/off button. The Control Panel and diode goes out.

6.2 Status page
NOTICE
If "Status page" is set to "Dark" the Control Panel goes out when it enters standby mode, but lights
up when you touch the screen.
When the control panel enters standby mode the status page is shown. Press respective symbol on
the status page to reach its sub-menu. Press the button "menu" to reach settings menu. Functions
marked with a star (*) are accessories.
Description of symbols for the top row on the status page (fig. 5)
Operating messages. Shown if temporary disruption in operation
occurs, this is not an error. Wait. Read more in section 9.2 Operating
messages.
230 V. Electricity (230 V) is connected to the boiler.
Day Mode. Shown when the function is on, turns green when active.
Night Mode. Shown when the function is on,turns green when active.
Gas bottle full/empty*. Shown if a DuoControl is installed. Green bot-
tle= gas available, red bottle = empty.
EisEx*. Shown if EisEx is on and turns green when active.
Engine heating*. Shown if engine heater is installed and on, turns
green when it is active.
Anti-bacteria. The automatic bacteria elimination program in the boiler
is running
High altitude mode. Flashes if high altitude mode is active.
