Safety information for the user
Your safety and that of others is of the utmost importance. Always read and follow all the safety
messages carefully.
All safety information in the manual is marked with this symbol.
All the safety messages are given after the safety symbol and either the word "DANGER",
"WARNING", "CAUTION" or "NOTICE".
The words' meanings:
DANGER
An imminently dangerous situation
which will lead to death or serious personal injury.
WARNING
A potentially dangerous situation
which can lead to death or serious personal injury and/or damage to property.
CAUTION
A potentially dangerous situation
which can lead to minor or moderate personal injury.
NOTICE
Requires attention in order to follow
a specific procedure or maintain a specific condition.
Safety warnings
DANGER
Carbon monoxide poisoning
• This heating system can produce dangerous carbon monoxide (CO) gas when using the LPG
operation if it is not installed and used properly.
• To help avoid the risk of asphyxiation, only use the LPG operation on the heating system outdoors
to help dissipate the exhaust gases.
• Make sure that the exhaust gas outlet is placed outside, e.g. never under the recreational vehicle's
awning.
• Do not use the heating system without adequate ventilation.
• Keep the air inlet and exhaust gas outlet unobstructed.
• When cleaning the vehicle, never spray water into the heating, e.g. if using a high-pressure clean-
er, do not spray directly into the heating's exhaust gas outlet.
WARNING
Fire/explosion hazard
• Do not use LPG operation on the heating system while refuelling or when filling a fixed LPG tank.
• Do not use any type of open flame when checking for gas leaks.
• Use genuine Alde parts only.
• LPG tanks must be filled by a qualified gas supplier only.
• Use with LPG only.
