5. Starting the heating system for the first time
1. Start the heating system by pressing the on/off button on the Control Panel (fig. 3 item 1). When the
heating system and the control panel is on a green diode is lit on the on/off button.
2. Choose language. This alternative always appears when the control panel starts up for the first time.
3. Press the button "Configure" to get to "System Configuration". You can always reach this meny
by pressing "menu" on the Alde Control Panel and browse until the alternative System Configuration
appears.

4. Visit each zone and control that the right accessories or functions are selected.
5. Browse through System Configuration (fig. 3 item 2) with the arrows, check that the right accessories
and functions are selected. Then return using the back arrow in the left corner and choose "Done".
Each box should be checked if you have connected:
Remote Control
Some external panels or Alde Smart Con-
trol, check with your retailer.
Engine heating
12 V pump to warm the vehicle's engine
with your Alde Heating System.
Alde Flow/additional hot water tank, for
increased hot water capacity and continu-
ous hot water.
6. Day and time are set from the control panel status page (fig. 3 figure 3), by pressing the clock in the
upper right corner of the control panel. Use the arrows (plus and minus) to set the right day and time.
This is important if you want to use time dependent functions, such as Night Mode. Observe that the
clock is reset if 12 V power is lost, if not battery backup (art. no. 3010 420) is installed.
7. Press the icon "Energy" on the status page (fig. 3 item 3) to choose operation mode (gas and/or
electricity).
8. To change the desired indoor temperature from the status page press each zone icon, e.g. sofa or
bed. Raise or reduce the temperature with the plus and minus buttons.
