4 Handling in operation
4.4 Pen / print head change
Attention: Excessive force can damage components within the plot modules and
pens !
4.4.1 Line strip chart recorder
Push for at least 3 sec. The
pens move to the park position.
Pull the pen out of the holder using
the pointer arrow head. If more
than one pen is to be changed start
from the top and work down.
Hinge the scale carrier upwards.
4.4.2 Dotting recorder
- Push for at least 3 sec. The print head moves to the park position.
Hinge the scale carrier upwards and pull the printhead out of the holder.
- Push the new printhead into the holder and replace the scale carrier to
its original position.

4.4.3 Setting time on recorders without the "Alphanumeric" option
Push as long as needed until the correct time is lined up with the tip of the
rear pen.
