11. Recalibra�on
The calibrator can be completely or par�ally recalibrated by the user.
Recalibra�on is carried out directly via the calibrator keypad (3rd menu level).
The internal sensor is compared with a standard at one or more temperature
points.
Calibra�on can only be carried out if the unit is set to °C.
The purpose of recalibra�on is to correct the error between the displayed temperature and the
value of a reference thermometer. To calibrate the internal sensor, a standard, i.e. a precision
thermometer, is required, which has a significantly higher measuring accuracy than the calibrator.
Calibra�on can be carried out at up to 10 temperatures. We recommend calibra�ng at least at the
following temperatures:

Follow this instruc�ons:.
1. Insert the probe of the standard thermometer in the most suitable hole of the insert.
Recommended inser�on depth: 40-50 mm.
2. Set the first calibra�on temperature point as set point and wait for complete stabiliza�on of
the device (see flashing icon in the display).
3. Enter the 3rd. menu level (see chapter 7.3 - 3rd. menu level). There, select the func�on „Pc".
4. Use the
-keys to enter the value,

key (Enter). Confirma�on is indicated by a beep.

5. Repeat steps 2. to 5. for the other calibra�on temperature points.
At the end of the opera�on, wait for about 20 seconds to come back to the principal menu.
