a) Calibra�on with internal temperature sensor as reference
The probe of the test specimen is inserted into the
equaliza�on block of thecalibrator. The display of the
calibrator (6) isthe reference standard. To compensate
for the measurement errorof the calibrator display (6),
manually correct the valuesusing the test report
(cer�ficate) of the calibrator.
b) Calibra�on with external precision thermometer as reference
Both the sensor of the test specimen and the
sensorof the reference thermometer are
inserted into the equaliza�on block of the
calibrator, close to each other and at the
same immersion depth.
With this method, the calibrator works exclusively
as a temperature source.
This method allows you to achieve greater accuracy,
as the measurement of the reference temperature
is independent of the ambient temperature.
The reference temperature can be read on the display
of the external reference thermometer.
