10. Typical faults and removal
Before carrying out these opera�ons, the instrument mus be disconnected from the
electricity supply and the equaliser block (and inserts) must be at ambient
temperature.
(1)
The calibrator does not work when the power cable is connected and the main switch is turned
on.
Possible cause: The fuse (3) is cut off: Replace fuses. The power cable is cut off: Replace the power
cable with a similar one. The main switch is faulty: contact DRUCK & TEMPERATUR Leitenberger.
(2)
The fuse (3) is triggered when the power cable is connected and the main switch is turned on.
Possible cause: The fuse is wrong: Replace with a right one. The power supply is faulty: contact
DRUCK & TEMPERATUR Leitenberger.
(3a)
The control panel is working properly but the temperature does not increase and the calibrator
indicates „Err" a�er a few seconds.
Possible cause: The hea�ng or cooling element is faulty. Contact DRUCK & TEMPERATUR
Leitenberger.
(3b)
The control panel is working properly but the temperature does not increase and the calibrator
indicates „Ht".
Possible cause: The safety temperature switch did operate. Let the device cooling down and check
parameter „tSET" in the 4th menu-level. Contact DRUCK & TEMPERATUR Leitenberger.
(4)
The display indicates a different temperature from the one measured in the block.
Possible cause: The internal probe (8) is not calibrated: Recalibrate the internal probe.
The probe (8) or the thermoregulator (6) is faulty: Contact DRUCK & TEMPERATUR Leitenberger.
(5)
The temperature does not stop at the value of the point, which has been set.
Possible cause: The thermoregulator (6) is faulty. Contact DRUCK & TEMPERATUR Leitenberger.
(6)
The temperature does not decrease to the set value as quickly as it should.
Possible cause: The fan (12) or the thermoregulator (6) ist faulty. Contact DRUCK & TEMPERATUR
Leitenberger.
(7)
The display indicates „810" or „786"
Possible cause: the internal probe is faulty. Contact DRUCK & TEMPERATUR Leitenberger.
